What does 'Intercultural Skills' mean?

The more you know about a country’s culture,
the easier it gets to master its cultural nuances. The goal of this intercultural package is to improve your knowledge of the host country (either France or England) & learn the cultural differences you will be facing or are facing. It will help you get the cultural tools you need to work and live in the host country.

What will you learn?

1. An overview - Understanding France or England / 2. French or British values & behaviours / 3. Living & socialising with the French or the British / 4. Working in France or in England / 5. Countryside versus Capital / 6. Moving with your spouse, kids & pets / 7. Real Estate in Paris or London / 8. How to get well-prepared / 9. Any specific questions you need to ask or specific issues you want to talk about

How does it work?

  1. Prior to the sessions, you will need to fill in a questionnaire that I will send by email.
  2. We schedule 5 sessions to address the different points mentioned above (what will you learn) and adapt them to your current situation in order to meet your current needs.
  3.  An Assessment Summary will be sent to you following the last session – a summary of our sessions, the potential aspects to work on in order to achieve your goals.
  4. Should you wish to change one of the topics mentioned in ‘What will you learn’ to meet your demand, please let me know and specify it in the questionnaire. It is totally OK, the goal of this package is to answer your immediate questions as long as they are culturally based.
  5. Within two months following the last session, a complimentary 60 minute session as a follow-up.
